Do you guys think there will ever be a second season? 

At the end of ep 13, chamber ejects Ledo and blows up toghether with striker, but then at the very end we see Ledo still has the little voice communication thing, if chamber is a program he could fit inside it right? And not just that, but we also see the remains of what seems so be chamber at the bottom of the sea, still intact. Perhaps both of these hint us of something? Or does it jsut symbolize a passing era?

I have found myself wondering about the background history and lore of the show, like how did earth suddenly gain enough water for there to be zero land?  How did the Hideauze

How long ago did earth freeze over?  Did earth actually freeze over due to climate change caused by the sun? (Ledo lives in a military state historical records are quite possibly changed in order to make the government look better, like say hypothetically humanity caused nuclear winter on itself, the government would probably want to cover that up)

I do believe the main character's name is Red and not Ledo. In Japan, when speaking the R sounds like it is mixed with an L and vice versa. The O at the end is just a Japanese way of saying the name. For example, if someone's name was Bridget, in Japanese it would be said "Bridgitto" or Margaret would be "Margaretto." This would mean that if you pronounce the R right and take off the O his name would be Red. (also on the official website they say his name is Red)Is my presumption correct?
